Matt Brooke Studio
Having begun his career at i-D, Matt went on to work for British Elle before art directing Arena and launching the first US bi-annual men's magazine, Maxim Fashion, in New York. Most recently Matt had a stint at British Elle as Creative Director, and in 2012 he was made Creative Director of French Elle.
Matt's commercial art direction portfolio shows a breadth of work that strongly reflects this editorial grounding.
During his career Matt has directed some of the world's most respected photographers and stylists for international clients both in Europe and the US. These clients include DAKS, Iceberg, Gieves & Hawkes, Boden, Luxottica, Motorola, M&S, John Smedley, Reiss, Dunhill, Gossard, Sony BMG and Nike. Matt has also consulted for publishing and PR companies, including Condé Nast.
In the last couple of years Matt has picked up the camera and started taking pictures himself. Inspired by the arrival of his beautiful daughters, Daisy and Milly, he has put together a book of kidswear photography which has led to both commercial commissions and published editorial.
